1.Why did you choose to do the work you do?
As a kid, I always liked figuring out how things worked and I love cars. Working at a smaller sized company has allowed me to work on all aspects of a project from concept development to hand- on testing, which I really enjoy.

2.What is your proudest career moment?
I think this will be a common answer on this blog: “One does not stand out from another.” Every time I finish a large project, I step back and take a look at it and feel good about it. Being able to work with great people and friends as a team, smoothly and effectively on a project is an amazing feeling.

3.What goal inspires you most?
To help people express themselves and their personality through building their own car. Having customers come up to you and want you to look at the car they have built and to see how proud they are of what they have done is an honor.

4.How has SolidWorks made a difference in your life?
SolidWorks has allowed me to compress the development time of my projects and allows me to foresee possible problems before any physical work is done. The intuitive way in which the program works is great. The fact that the software is so widely used has helped me get better/faster quotes and parts from suppliers. It has allowed Factory Five to do development work on multiple projects simultaneously with fewer engineers, which is also a big money saver.

5.Where’s the best place you’ve traveled?
Aruba. I got married there. The weather, water and beaches are amazing. My diving experience in Phuket Thailand also sticks in my head. Awesome.
