This is it, the last session for this year's SolidWorks World.  Take advantage of some really great presentations to complete your day, and then get ready to go back to the office and put the information to good use.

The Other Project BUB, Part 2 – Land Speed Racing Designs for Bonneville
David Woodruff, Design Dreans, LLC
I remember the first time I heard about the Bonneville Salt Flats.  In 1970, Gary Gabelich broke Craig Breedlove's five year old record, and The Blue Flame became the first rocket-propelled car to travel faster than 1000 km/hr.  This session is a follow-up from last year's SolidWorks World.  David will talk about designing a vehicle meant to speed along at 300mph.  I could use a car like that for driving around the very large state of Texas.

Properties, Tabs, and How They Go Together
Kevin Van Liere, 3 Dawn Consulting
The Property Tab Builder remains a mystery to many SolidWorks users.  Kevin will help you understand how to use it, and how to integrate it into your design process.  He might also be willing to answer questions about drawing templates, he's been know to have a great deal of insight into that area.

Unemployed Models – Keep Them Working in Manufacturing
Dan Bertschi, Babcock and Wilcox
A great title, a great guy, and a great topic.  This session will show you why it's important not to simply "retire" your SolidWorks models after the drawings are finished.  Explore the benefits of using SolidWorks models downstream in the manufacturing process, and learn what hurdles may exist and how to overcome them.

The Art of Drawing in SolidWorks
Stephen Combs, Strangineer Design, LLC
I forgot to ask Stephen at the SWUGN Summit – Denver how he came up with the name of his company.  I'll make sure to ask in Anaheim.  This session was one of the highlights in Colorado, and should be one of the highlights in California.  Who says nobody does drawings any more?

You can see that I (and everyone else) have my work cut out for me choosing just one session in each time slot at SolidWorks World.  There are so many great presenters and topics, and just not enough time in the day.
