SWUGN Year in Review – March 2009

Top Story
Rodney Hall gets in his car and drives four hours to his new job.  The 300+ mile drive is nothing compared to the 16 hours he spent on the road to attend SolidWorks World in Orlando.  Armed with a webcam, a Skype account, and a huge following in the SolidWorks Community, Rodney further challenges himself by taking a night job teaching SolidWorks at a local community college.  For the entire "feel good" story of the year (and some really great comments), click here.

Richard Doyle
My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
