Cut Them in Half
What do you do when your expecting 45 at a user group meeting and 93 show up? That was the dilemma facing Devon Sowell and the MiraCosta College SolidWorks User Group last weekend. The answer was simple – cut the sandwiches in half and hope everyone had a big breakfast.
Devon's new group certainly got off on the right foot – huge attendance, great presentations, and a tour of the College's modern facilities. Devon's got some more information over at his blog.
So Devon – what do you do for an encore?
My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
