Traveling Internationally

I got an email from the airline yesterday morning offering to help me prepare for my upcoming international flight.  With a Canadian wife, two half-Canadian children, and in-laws in British Columbia and Alberta, I hardly ever think about a flight to Canada being an international trip.

It looks like the turnout for Tuesday's SWUGN Summit – Vancouver will be a little lower than average, but certainly larger than previous events we've held in the Northwest (remember the crickets in Seattle?).  Still, more than 50 people will show up for a day full of great sessions.  We have two new presenters joining us – Alan "Mac" McGregor and Tanya Rubin, as well as folks from Hawkridge Systems and Next Level Engineering.  Jenn Oster, SolidWorks TTM has been a huge help with the schedule, and will be kicking in a session as well.

I'll fill out the declaration form and go through customs, and I'll probably have to explain why I'm carrying 40 pounds worth of electronic equipment.  But it still won't really feel like an international trip.
