Gabi Tries Her Hand at….Speaking

If you've ever met Gabi Jack, you know she's a woman of few (spoken) words.  That will have to change on September 9th as Gabi is scheduled to present at the Tri-Valley SolidWorks User Group meeting in Dublin, California.

The topic is SolidWorks Motion, and there's no doubt about her knowledge of the subject.  Gabi has already written several nice "how to" blog posts about Motion (here, here, and here) and received high praise from her readers (see the comments).

This is Gabi's first presentation at a SolidWorks User Group, and I know she's a bit nervous.  I've given here a few bits of advice – know your stuff (she does), be prepared (she is), and have fun (she will).

I also have one piece of advice for the user group members - practice the following phrase:

"Hey Gabi – can you speak up a little?"

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
