SWW Speaker Spotlight – Casey Gorman

Casey Gorman might be the nicest and most easy going person I've ever met.  Nothing seems to faze this guy (unless it's someone who's messing with his user group).  Casey's speaking style fits right in with his personality, and its a pleasure to sit in one of his sessions.

Casey's been running the Central Florida SolidWorks User Group for several years now (he co-founded it with John Fox).  He's also been instrumental in helping with several other groups in Florida.  I had the privilege to vist Casey's group a few years ago, and many of his members were with us at last year's SWUGN Summit – Orlando.  Casey also presented at the SWUGN Summit – Tampa way back in 2006, and at the SWUGN Summit – Los Angeles late last year.  This will be Casey's first presentation at SolidWorks World, but he's definately ready for it.

Even if Casey's sheet metal hands-on session isn't on your schedule, you should make it a point of meeting him anyway.  You can find him hanging around the SWUGN booth in the exhibit area, or at the SWUGN Summit meeting Monday afternoon.  I guarantee you'll be glad you met him.

Bending and Shaping – Using SolidWorks Sheetmetal Tools

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
