The End of the Two-Day User Events? Hardly.

When Mark Peters retired last year from the SWUGN Committee, I thought it would also be the end of two day, user run events.  The Midwest SolidWorks User Conference outlasted them all, running for five straight years and helping hundreds of SolidWorks users learn more about SolidWorks, Partner products, and get a chance to meet fellow SolidWorks users from all over the Midwest.

Well, here comes Tony Cantrell and the Southeast SolidWorks User Workshop event that starts Thursday and runs through Friday in Columbia, South Carolina.  100 or so SolidWorks users, resellers, students, and SolidWorks Partners are expected to attend, and Tony has put together quite a lineup of presenters.

If you’re anywhere near the area, register now and get there as soon as you can.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
