Well, I Finally Missed One

I arrived in Nashville for the SWUGN Summit last Tuesday looking forward to another stellar event.  Alas, it wasn’t to be – a medical emergency at home left me scrambling for a quick return flight that night.

So, what do you do when you have 90 SolidWorks users expecting you for a day full of technical sessions?  Simple – turn everything over to Ricky, Gary, Richard, Dana, and Ramesh.  After a very brief meeting on the way to the airport (and handing over my suitcase full of badges, agendas, prizes, and projector) Ricky Jordan stepped up big-time on Wednesday and delivered the goods.  By all accounts, it was a huge success.

So, after 20 consecutive events, I missed my first SWUGN Summit.  I’ve often wondered (as have others) what would happen in a situation like this one.  Turns out there’s nothing to worry about – user group leaders and members, SWUGN reps, and fellow SolidWorks employees will be there to carry the day.

Thanks again everyone.
