How Much Does it Cost, and Where Do I Send the Check?

I received a forwarded email from Wayne Tiffany the other day:

Wayne,
Four of us from <company name withheld> attended the last meeting and I was wondering what I owed for all of us.  We enjoyed the meeting topics and presentations, but even more the group itself was very comfortable and we all felt welcome.  Let me know what the cost to join the user group will be and I will forward our payment.

Now there’s a satisfied user group member – offering to pay up for a group that costs nothing!
