Hey, Do you Know…?

I attended the North Texas SolidWorks User Group’s meeting last Thursday in Fort Worth.  It was a great meeting – we had a lot of fun with some SolidWorks trivia, and saw wonderful presentation by the folks from Quadrispace.  We spent more than an hour at the end of the meeting doing a Q & A session until someone finally said it was getting late and we should all go home.

The best part though was before the meeting when one of the group members, Shawn McFall, walked up to me and asked "So, do you know Ricky Jordan?"  Seems Shawn and Ricky worked together some years ago.  This happens to me a lot and is a constant reminder of the power of the SolidWorks Community.

My official title is Senior User Advocacy & SolidWorks User Groups - but most people just call me "The User Group Guy". I've been a SolidWorks user since 1997, and was one of the founding members of the SWUGN Committee. Since starting the Central Texas SolidWorks User Group in 1999, my career path has led me to DS SolidWorks and a dream job supporting the SolidWorks User Group Network worldwide.
