SASUG does it Well!
I attended a very good user group meeting in San Antonio, Texas last week. I say it was very good, not because of the excellent technical presentations, the attendance of 30+, or the BBQ diner (which was outstanding). No, the thing that struck me was the interaction among the group members during the entire meeting. From the opening presentation on SolidWorks World, to the wrap-up prize drawings, the members were engaged – asking questions, sharing tips, even helping the presenters when they got “stuck” a couple of times.
SASUG has been meeting for better than two years now, and many of the members have known each other for most of that time. But even the first time attendees were involved in the meeting, showing me that when you bring SolidWorks users together in an open forum, they become very passionate about sharing with, and learning from, other users. I would like to thank the good folks at SASUG for inviting me to attend the meeting.
