We also have talented makers that share with us their amazing designs in wood, furniture, fashion and more.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Last month, my colleague, Sarah Kouyoumdjian was at \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fwww.skillsusa.org\u002F\">SkillsUSA\u003C\u002Fa> National Competition. SkillsUSA is the #1 workforce development organization for students. They empower students to become skilled professionals, career-ready leaders and responsible community members that SOLIDWORKS has supported for 20 years.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>At SkillsUSA Competition, \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fwoodshopmike.com\u002Fabout\u002F\">Mike Poorman\u003C\u002Fa>, long time SOLIDWORKS user and creator of \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fwoodshopmike.com\u002F\">Woodshop Mike\u003C\u002Fa> introduced himself to our EDU team. He decided to make his own path that would take him in two related directions. Mike apprenticed with a luthier for 2 years, learning the tricks of the trade first-hand from a master.
