What’s New in SOLIDWORKS 2027?
Get hands on with the following capabilities:
- Variability Tables: Define product variability with variants, options, and numerical parameters that drive model dimensions and features. Configure complex, structured designs without manual rework at every level.
- Chord Width Fillet Option: Create constant-width fillets using a Chord Width option for Constant Size fillets, giving you more control over fillet geometry and design intent.
- Sheet Metal Stamp on Bend: Create stamped geometry on bend regions in sheet metal parts, reducing workaround steps and enabling more accurate modeling of manufactured sheet metal features.
If you haven’t already, check out the recently released capabilities as well. Here are some highlights:
- Imported Geometry to Parametric CAD: Convert imported STEP and IGES models into fully editable, feature-based SOLIDWORKS parts using AI. Bring supplier or legacy geometry into your workflow without rebuilding from scratch.
- AI Drawing Generation: Ask LEO, your SOLIDWORKS AI companion, to generate a drawing from your model. Define your template, standards, primary view, and requirements through conversation, refine the output with prompts, and save directly to your chosen location.
- Content Explorer in SOLIDWORKS Design: Browse, organize, and open 3DEXPERIENCE platform content directly from the SOLIDWORKS Open dialog using a familiar Windows Explorer-style interface, without switching to a separate browser.
