On your old computer this was not a problem.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What is Wrong?\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>In these cases it is most likely that your computer has not been set up to run tasks. Then your task list will become longer and longer, and it just says “waiting for host”\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cfigure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\">\u003Cimg loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" PDM database.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Ch3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Solution\u003C\u002Fh3>\u003Cp>First you need to find the location of “EModelViewer.exe” which is the standard for reading most of your CAD files.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The standard location for “EModelviewer” is \u003Csolidworks directory>Edrawings\u003C\u002Fsolidworks>\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>You also need to locate “Fileviewer.exe” which is used for almost other file formats.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The standard location for “Fileviewer” is the SOLIDWORKS PDM install directory.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Now your PDM administrator should open your user go to settings (1) click on “Viewers” (2) and insert the file paths as shown here, note the column with extensions.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cfigure class=\"wp-block-image
