This year is the 25th Anniversary of Model Mania! Time flies when you’re having fun, I guess!\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>The first Model Mania took place at SOLIDWORKS World 2000 in New Orleans. We have several booths placed close together – it’s going to be the place to be!  If you are attending \u003Cstrong>3D\u003C\u002Fstrong>EXPERIENCE World in Houston, be sure to go into the Playground.  Walk into the Playground hall and stay to the right to join us!\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Of course, we will have the “OG” Model Mania booth.  This is the beloved challenge where contestants model a part, along with an edit once you’ve completed the initial design.  Just like in real life, there’s always changes that come later.  Contestants are judged on accuracy first, then on speed.  The winners will be announced on Wednesday, February 26th at 12:30 PM CST in the 3DEXPERIENCE Theater and will be broadcast live on \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fwww.youtube.com\u002Fsolidworks\">SOLIDWORKS Live\u003C\u002Fa>.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>In addition, we’ll also have a brand-new Model Mania Xtreme booth, where you can watch and compete in head-to-head speed-modeling battles. Step into our custom built, CAD-boxing ring to compete for epic prizes, claim bragging rights, and maybe even get featured on SOLIDWORKS Live!\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>We’ll also have a Simulation Mania booth where we will host two easy-to-play, fun games; Jenga and Kluster.
