(At least that is the excuse I always use.) I’ve found Assembly Visualization can be a great tool to quickly skim through your assembly’s components looking for missing information.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>Here’s how I could use it to find any parts in my assembly without material specified:\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>1. Start the Visualization tool (it is either on your assembly or evaluate toolbar by default)\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp>2. Right mouse button click on any of the headers (except “File Name”) and choose “Add Column”, or find any column with a little black arrow pointing to the right.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cfigure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\">\u003Cimg decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\u002F\u002Fblog-assets.solidworks.com\u002Fuploads\u002F2025\u002F12\u002Faddcolumn.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41619\">\u003C\u002Ffigure>\u003Cp>3. Click on that arrow and choose “More…”\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cfigure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\">\u003Cimg decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\u002F\u002Fblog-assets.solidworks.com\u002Fuploads\u002F2025\u002F12\u002Fmore.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-41620\">\u003C\u002Ffigure>\u003Cp>4. Choose the property you want to examine.
