This feature allows you to quickly and efficiently insert dimensions in an aesthetically pleasing manner.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Dimensions Bounding Box is operated slightly differently compared to the functions discussed in the past couple of blogs, because it isn’t automatically activated upon selection. Instead, it’s inserted after your entities have already been drawn.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By highlighting the design you want to add dimensions to and right clicking, a drop down menu will appear. Then, press the Dimension Bounding Box option, specify Create, and voila!\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Keep in mind that if its icon isn’t turned on, the dashed line around your entity indicating the bounding box will not be visible in the display window. As previously mentioned, the feature is positioned in the Status Bar, which is located in the lower right corner of the \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fwww.draftsight.com\u002F?utm_medium=Display&utm_source=Blog&utm_campaign=DraftSight_Blog&utm_content=Blog_RC_InText_12022019&utm_term=link-text\" data-id=\"59199\">DraftSight\u003C\u002Fa> application.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once your bounding box is surrounding your chosen entity, adding dimensions is easier than ever. Simply select Smart Dimension, click a segment, and a selection circle will appear.
