So, continuing the theme of manipulating \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fwww.draftsight.com\u002F?utm_medium=Display&utm_source=Blog&utm_campaign=DraftSight_Blog&utm_content=Blog_RC_InText_10142019&utm_term=link-text\" data-id=\"59345\">DraftSight\u003C\u002Fa>’s layer and separation features, this blog highlights the List and Hide functions.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The List feature acts as an informant that reveals details about any selected entity in your drawing. It’s activated by typing List into the command window and then specifying your entity in question. After pressing enter, a window pops up listing qualities of that entity, including its Mode, Layer, LineColor, Location, and more.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I find the List operation most convenient when I’ve forgotten which layer an entity belongs to and I want to isolate it for revisions.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pro tip: typing Get Properties into the command window will achieve the same result as List.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lastly, the Hide operation does exactly what its name suggests – it hides portions of your drafts from view.
