Disorganized designs not only make it hard for your vision to be understood, but also slow down your drafting process as a whole.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That said, this post will be highlighting the Delete Duplicates icon located in the Modify section under the Home tab of the ribbon.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When selected, \u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fwww.draftsight.com\u002F?utm_medium=Display&utm_source=Blog&utm_campaign=DraftSight_Blog&utm_content=Blog_RC_InText_9302019&utm_term=link-text\" data-id=\"59380\">DraftSight\u003C\u002Fa> will prompt you to specify the entities containing overlapping or duplicated segments, and then press enter. A properties window will appear granting you multiple removal and combination options.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Four options will be selected by default – including remove polyline duplicate vertices and segments, combine overlapping entities into one, combine collinear entities aligned end to end, and do not modify associative entities.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u003Ca href=\"https:\u002F\u002Fwww.draftsight.com\u002F?utm_medium=Display&utm_source=Blog&utm_campaign=DraftSight_Blog&utm_content=Blog_RC_InText_9302019&utm_term=link-text\" data-id=\"59380\">DraftSight\u003C\u002Fa> also lists additional options you can manually select, like not splitting polylines and ignoring certain entity properties, such as their width, layer, line color, line style, and so forth.\u003C\u002Fp>\u003Cp class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, as you can tell, there are endless ways for you to manipulate the command to your liking.
