SOLIDWORKS Tech Tip – Adjusting the Opacity of Geometry

In Visualize, any geometry (part, group model) can be fully opaque or fully transparent making, it easy to show the internals of your model. This helpful setting is called the Opacity slider, found in the Models Tab of the Palette. In Visualize Professional, opacity can be animated to smoothly fade away any model, part, or group. For this week’s Visualize Quick Tip, let’s see how to adjust the Opacity slider and how it can be used to create a killer animation.
