Day of Design Nationwide Challenges Feature SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids

Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) learning with a mission is the nationwide challenge for our youngest designers and makers in this years’ Day of Design . Elementary school children can participate in the “Creating Hybrid Foods” challenge using SOLIDWORKS Apps for Kids for free!

In this mission, students will:

– explore how existing foods could be combined to create new hybrid foods with exciting new flavors and characteristics,

– utilize an online, easy-to-use tool to create and/or modify 3D models on the website,

– optionally, print out their 3D models using your own 3D printer.

Students can earn a badge by completing or modifying a model using the 3D modeling online software.
