Life Long Memories When Fathers Share with Daughters

Father’s Day is this Sunday. Happy Father’s Day to dads in our SOLIDWORKS Community. We received this photo of two future designers from SOLIDWORKS Sioux Falls User Group Leader, Brad Hakeman.

The photo was taken at the local Home Depot in Sioux Falls, during one of their Kids Workshops. This project was to build their own Home Depot pickup truck. This is the third Home Depot workshop Brad has taken the girls to. Caroline loves to swing the hammer, while Julia loves to paint the finished project.

Caroline has helped Brad on several home projects, including a gate for their deck and building a PVC pipe drum that Brad designed for his wife, a middle school band teacher.

I cherish memories growing up with my dad. I loved shopping with him for SEARS Craftsman tools, visiting the Snap-on Tool truck when it stopped at his shop, and working on beautiful cars.
