The event started 6 months ago with 900 project teams and 4500+ students and teachers to design, test and prototype the best of their ideas in science, technology and engineering.

UPSTI7

SolidWorks French Value Added Reseller, Cadware supported this event.  Students used SOLIDWORKS software to design their products.

UPSTI3

UPSTI is the organization of teachers for “Classes prépa”, the very high level of students after Baccalaureate.  Teachers help prepare students for 2 years to compete for a place in the best Engineering schools in France.

Lycee Don Bosco

Congratulations to winners Lyceé Don Bosco for their Head Controlled Wheel Chair design.

Lycee Louis-le-Grand

I was happy to see a team of young women from Lyceé Louis-le-Grand Paris to do so well.

UPSTI22

In fact, there were many young women scientists and engineers at the event finals.  Perhaps there is a future Marie Curie or Claudie Haigneré.
