SolidWorks Animation From A Buckeye

OSU Car and Controller in SolidWorks
When
you get a SolidWorks animation from a buckeye, you know it’s going to be
good.

The
Ohio State University mechanical engineering students, Kyle Steinkerchner, Clinton Lehotan, and Matt Taylor exceeded in this year’s ME5680 Computer Aided Design
and Manufacturing course.

Ohio State car render
Under
the direction of Professor Lisa Abrams,
the class focuses on design of machine components, surfaces, and assemblies
using SolidWorks parametric and feature-based design principles and advanced
design tools.Actual Car and Controller
Simply
– I love the drift in the animation, kinematics applied to the assembly, and
the reverse engineering of the actual RC car and controller.

Well
done.  Marie
