Instructors need to create a final exam for their CAD course.   Students need to build their resume or CV to prove to employers they have SolidWorks skills.   

The Certified SolidWorks Associate Exam (CSWA) tests the fundamental competencies of engineering graphics using SolidWorks.   The online, 3 hour exam, tests if a student can read a drawing, accurately create a model, record its mass properties and then multiple make changes to the model . 

Each student has a unique exam that is automatically graded.  Students become part of our SolidWorks Virtual Testing Center where as they continue their engineering design career, can take part in the other 8 exams offered by SolidWorks Certification.  The SolidWorks Testing Center is located here. 

Schools on subscription, which meet the minimum license requirements, can be CSWA Providers, offering the CSWA exam to their students in a proctored classroom setting.  Student results for each topic are provided to the educators.  Educators can apply at www.solidworks.com/cswa.
