SolidWorks foam air plane

My intern Greg Margolis from University of Massachusetts  Amherst and a few of his engineering friends were testing aerodynamics of this foam plane before a meeting.  Greg helped me turn this action into a SolidWorks tutorial from a photograph of the plane cutout.

If you have SolidWorks 2011-2012, open Plane All part first to see the multi-bodies.  Then open the assembly.

If you have SolidWorks 2010, view the video and then use Tools, Sketch Tools, Sketch Picture with the included jpg file.  You can also import Adobe Illustrator files and .dwg files directly into a SolidWorks part.

Models: Download SolidWorks_Foam_Airplane (zipped uses winzipx)
