I am pleased to report that Artem, my intern who developed the VEX robot instructions in the Robotics category of this SolidWorks STEM teacher blog http://blogs.solidworks.com/teacher/2008/09/solidworks-asse.html and robot components on www.3DContentCentral.com received 1st prize in the 12th International Student Olympiad in Khelmnitsky, Ukraine. Artem's presentation, "CAD Systems & Computer Based Modeling in the Machine Industry" illustrated how the SolidWorks API can be used to develop custom software applications. He competed with over 150 students from 25 universities. Congratulations Artem, now his next challenge is to complete his Master's degree. Additional images of Artem's interface are provided below.
