         I guess if anyone had to put a label on me today one of my titles would have to be a professional internet surfer.  Indeed I do spend many hours each day online to discover those great things that I want to make you all aware of.  I’m also kind of picky in what I tell the readers out there because it only takes one or two mistakes and you are out of this game.  Blogging has its own special problems and rewards.  Problems are plentiful because those that do not like you are more responsive in the comments back area than those that might agree with you.  But that is good too because we feed on that feedback and adjust accordingly if we should see something that needs to be addressed.  Not all my articles and blog essays have been well accepted but I also don’t know of anyone else’s that has either.  So I guess I am in the ball park somewhere between good and bad.  J  What I really enjoy most is when I find something that is really exceptional to talk to you about and put my seal of approval upon it.  Well I have some great news for you.  This is a little different type of analysis than what Solidworks was meant to give you.

       As most of us SolidWorks bloggers realize we don't often get the kind of feedback that we would like to have.  That feedback tells us how we are perceived on the world's news highways of internet information.  Whether it is a compliment or a complaint, I am sure we all like to hear about how we are doing in your eyes.  Many times when we push the button to publish some of our work we have no idea how it will be accepted and where it goes out into cyberspace and if anybody at all bothers to read it.

Easy Access Engineering Terms

Well the school year has started in many parts of the country.  While we get set to do one of the hardest jobs in the world here are some tools you might want to use.

Here is a deal that is hard to pass up because it is free.  Everything listed here is free.  For the teachers and students out there that are in pre-engineering or for those enrolled in engineering colleges this URL down below will take you to a FREE Engineering Dictionary from McGraw Hill.  That is kind of hard to beat.  It can sit right on your desktop for easy reference.

Here are some more very nice web sites for reference also.  I like the downloadable types because you might not always have an internet connection available if you are working on your laptop away from the home or office.  Not all of these are able to be donwloaded but it can sure help when you need to research something in the technology.  Why not take a look? Very Detailed Projects using SolidWorks

      Hi Teachers and all those that use SolidWorks for all kinds of different designs and projects.  I want to share with you a project that has really been a challenge for me as a non-professional user of the SolidWorks MCAD application.  All of this was done with the student version of 2007. :)  I have not yet found anything that I could not do with this program so far, but I am not out there on the front lines like you are with your students or working in an office doing engineering designs and such.  Being retired has its advantages but helping you is what I am all about these days.  Do enjoy the small article and many pictures that I have posted for you.  Bye.

            Well, I haven’t found them yet myself but then again I am not a power user like those that make their livelihoods with this SolidWorks program.  I’m more like many of you reading this article.  I struggle to find ways for using it in our schools here in our district.  I’m constantly working to find new and different things to do with SolidWorks to promote its use in so many other ways that many of us have not tried as yet.  So I took upon myself another project recently.
