Hello Richard-

Thanks for the nod.

The Design Summit was a huge success, thanks to you, Phil Sluder, and Paul Clarke. Lets face it, SWUG meetings are fun!

As Paul and I were talking early in the morning before the meeting, Paul asked "Do you think we should have asked for RSVPs?"

"Nah" I replied. Now I'm glad we didn't, we would have stressed out at the response!

RE:"So Devon - what do you do for an encore?"

Well, we've got some ideas and surprises...Stay tuned!

Great Job Devon! It was a great MiraCosta College SWUG meeting. Lots of enthusiasm. I am glad I made it.

And to answer the big question: How do you model a soccer ball? Well Devon was correct when he said you don't model it, you go to 3Dcontentcentral.com and download it. Did you know there are 4 different soccer balls available online? Anyway to directly answer the question, yes I NOW know how to model a soccer ball, and if you were at the San Diego SWUG meeting last night I proved it.

Hey Phil-

Brilliant technique you used for modeling the soccer ball.

Joe & Keri Dunne from SolidWorks Corp. attended Phil's user group meeting Oct. 14, 2009.

Thanks Devon, but the credit for the modeling should go to Tim Thieler who uploaded that soccer ball model to 3DContentCentral.com
