When it comes to programming, I'm really good with my VCR. Beyond that..well, not so much. Lenny Kikstra on the other hand is a master of the subject, and willingly shares his knowledge via his website - Lenny's SolidWorks Resources.
Lenny has been around the SolidWorks Community for a long time. He's been using SolidWorks since 1998, and has been involved in one way or another with the SolidWorks Milwaukee Area Resource Team, one of the oldest SolidWorks User groups around, for almost ten years. His website is jam-packed with stuff you should know about SolidWorks and the SolidWorks API. Whether you're an experienced programmer, or a novice looking to dabble with macros, Lenny's site has plenty of information for you. In addition to all of that, Lenny also writes a appropriately named blog - Lenny Works.
True to his nature, Lenny will be presenting this year on the SolidWorks API. If you're interested in learning how to record, write, and modify macros, or how to use the API to get around different SolidWorks documents, attend his session. If you just want to know more about Lenny and his contributions to the SolidWorks Community, swing by the SWUGN booth in the exhibit area - he'll be hanging out with us occasionally. Thanks, Richard, That one really tops the chart. I'm not sure I would call myself an API expert, but I have spent a lot of time (and I think my website shows it) exploring the API.
If you can't find me near the SWUGN display on Sunday evening, I am probably visiting some good friends in the vendor areas.
I can't wait to get to 'World' Orlando. There are a lot of friends I want to see again, a lot of things I want to learn and a lot of things I want to do.
It's going to be a great conference!
