A Natural in Louisville

From start to finish, Paul McCrorey was in complete control of the Louisville SolidWorks User Group meeting Thursday evening.  Hosted by Samtec (thanks Bryan Ray) in a really nice conference room, Paul started off the meeting by welcoming everyone, sharing his vision for the newly formed group, and asking the new members to complete surveys for future meetings.  After a quick "What's New" presentation and some prize drawings, the meeting adjourned.

It wasn't quite over yet though.  Paul asked for volunteers to help with the group, and four brave souls stuck around for a while and discussed some roles and responsibilities - a lot of really good ideas were thrown out for consideration.  Paul, Steve, Bill, and Eric (sorry guys, didn't get your last names) pretty much formed right there what will become the leadership board for the new group.

One final twist - I saw a familiar face when I arrived at Samtec.  Charles Davis, General Manager for Nexgen Manufacturing Systems was there for his second user group meeting of the week.  Charles was also in Cincinatti the night before.
