Starting in December of last year, I started noticing some inquisitive posts on the SolidWorks discussion forums from someone named Gabi Jack. The questions were well framed, and showed a clear desire to learn. Over the next few months, Gabi started answering as many questions as she was asking. Some folks here at SolidWorks took notice of her interest and her writing, and asked her if she'd be interested in joining the (so called) SolidWorks Blog Squad. Now the student has become the master.
Topping off an incredible 10 month run, the other day Gabi passed the Certified SolidWorks Professional exam (CSWP). She's a little excited about it too.
Stop over at Gabi's blog and leave a note of congratulations (you won't be the first).

Thanks, Richard! So it's been ten months already? Wow! Time does fly when you are having fun! The funny thing is that when I first considered becoming a CSWP, I was a bit naive and envisioned I should be able to do it in a lot less time than that, so at some point I was beginning to feel a bit discouraged by the enormous amount of ground that I had yet to cover and by how long it was taking me to get there. Now I feel extremely happy to have achieved that goal, and excited to continue learning, because there is still so much more to explore. I feel so lucky and so blessed!
