Today we welcome the State of Hawaii to the SolidWorks User Group network with the addition of the CAD Users of the Big Island SolidWorks User Group. Group leader Michael Hess has worked through the challenge of widely scattered SolidWorks users and miles of ocean to bring this group to life.
I can see the comments coming through now;
"Hi Richard, I would like to volunteer to do a presentation at an upcoming CUBIG meeting."

Richard,
Regarding traveling to Hawaii to present at a CUBIG meeting; as western region representative of SWUGN, I feel it is my duty to be as helpful and generate as much goodwill toward other members in the user community as possible. Since this meeting is within the boundries of the western U.S., I would consider making the journey and sacraficing some of my time to enlighten the newest SolidWorks user group. Besides, I need to practice my all new 2009 SWW Tips and Tricks presentation a few times to work out the bugs.

Richard, you know me, I'd like to offer my services to help out where ever possible and this includes Hawaii. Since I'd like to get in to the presentation poriton someday, I think SW should send me over there to start my learning.
