One of the best SWUGN success stories over the past few years has been the Central MA/Northern CT SolidWorks User Group. Superbly managed by a 4 person committee - Ed "The Mad Scientist" Gebo, Randy "The Traveler" Lennox, Tom "The Brains" Cote, and Glen "The Quiet One" LePage - the group averages nearly 50 attendees per bi-monthly meeting. They have also been very good at mixing things up when it comes to meeting places. I'm not sure which one of these guys has the magic touch, but CMNC-SWUG meetings have been held at some interesting facilities.
This month's meeting will be held at the Smith & Wesson facility in Springfield, MA. Provided that you follow all of the security rules, you'll get a nice tour of the plant along with some terrific presentations. For more information and the complete set of guidelines, visit the group's website.

You might want to be "locked and loaded" for this meeeting. :) I might have to make the drive down to Springfield. Sounds like a great meeting.

If anyone plans to attend, you need to RSVP at rsvp@cmnc-swug.com. Due to security reasons, we need your name on the list before you arrive. FYI..the guards at S&W are heavily armed and they love to target shoot. Please see the link of S&W requirements at our home page www.cmnc-swug.com This meeting should be a bang! Sorry, I had say it :)
