You might if they are using SolidWorks to design solar powered model cars. That's what the 11-year old students at Brookside Middle School are doing these days. According to a SolidWorks press release, the kids at Brookside can't wait to get to class and use SolidWorks to work on their designs.
You can see some of their work here.

That's great!
I'll start a new SolidWorks Part and then let my 5 year old daughter Drag a Rectangle and then Drag the Extrusion. Next, I let her Click on a Color. She loves it and can't wait to do it again.

That is really neat! My son's elementary school doesn't use SW, but they are always trying new things for the students, right now they are doing the LEGO robots as part as an after school activity, plus the computer club, and such and such. Sometimes, I've thought about becoming a Math or Science teacher myself, just to bring this kind of stuff inside the classroom, not only as an optional activity, but somehow I don't think I have the gift of teaching.
