Three new users groups have joined the SolidWorks User Group Network, and all will have their first meetings very soon.
Pirates on the Bay SolidWorks User Group (Tampa)
Sharon Keaton - Group Leader
Temecula Valley SolidWorks User Group
Brian Wixom - Group Leader
North Mississippi SolidWorks User Group (Tupelo)
Byron Morgan - Group Leader
A quick glance reveals only three letters of the alphabet that are not represented by a SolidWorks User Group. So...who wants to start a group in Jerome, Xenia, and Yankton?

"Pirates on the Bay"?!?! Now that's colorful and original. I've heard Richard grouse a little about these user group names that don't have the city in the name, because they're hard to locate if you aren't a local. I'll bet you rolled your eyes at that one. I for one am all for it. It's hard to do anything interesting when the name has a "sug" or "swug" appended to it.
Anyway, way to go, new group leaders! I wish you success.

Pirates on the Bay! Wonderful! For those not familiar with Tampa, we have a long standing pirate tradition including the Gasparilla Pirate Festival (think of a Mardi Gras parade with pirates). Heck even one of our major toll roads used to have a Pirate holding a knife in his teeth as the symbol.
I like it!
