The SWUGN Summit series continues to gain momentum, this time with more than 90 participants in Denver, Colorado. Bolstered by four presentations from local SolidWorks users, the session schedule was very well received. The most popular session? Kevin Van Liere's (3 Dawn Consulting) drawings presentation, which drew nearly 80% of the attendees (causing a mad scramble for chairs).
Denver is the home of the Colorado SolidWorks User Group and the COSUG board members were a huge help in organizing and assisting with the event. Special thanks to Cathy Ross and Paul Larsen for handling registration, and Gerald Davis for recruiting presenters and shooting the first ever SWUGN Summit video.
The success of the Denver Summit will undoubtedly call for a return engagement in 2007, but for now it's off to Boston June 20th for the next event.

SWUGN put on a splendid event in Denver! The meeting rooms worked very well. The luncheon was tasty and the table arrangements promoted interesting table talk. Everyone I've talked with who attended the event was delighted with the material covered in the breakout sessions. The great door prizes were icing on the cake.
I realize full well the amount of effort that it takes to organize a meeting like this. The positive results reflect the commitment that SWUGN has to helping SolidWorks users improve their skill.
If you have an opportunitiy to attend one of these SWUGN events, I heartily recommend participating. Of course, your local user group meetings are important, too!
