Be Awesome: Get SOLIDWORKS Certified

Today more than 200 SOLIDWORKS World 2015 attendees tested their understanding of SOLIDWORKS in two SOLIDWORKS Certification sessions. The results: about 50 new Certified SOLIDWORKS Professionals (CSWPs) were added to a worldwide community of 135,000 certified customers!

SOLIDWORKS Certifications, including the Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate (CSWA) and Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional (CSWPCORE) designations offered at SWW15, serve as a benchmark to measure a user’s knowledge and competency with SOLIDWORKS software.

One cool story coming out of this year’s exam sessions is from high school teacher Cesar Gutierrez. Each year, Gutierrez, teacher at Desert View High School, brings his top students to SOLIDWORKS World to tackle the CSWP exam. Special congratulations to Clarissa Moreno, one of Gutierrez’s students, on becoming one of our newest Certified SOLIDWORKS Professionals.

This year you should consider certification testing. It’s basically proof of your awesomeness and looks great on a resume. It all starts with the CSWA exam, but there’s even more for those eager to increase their skill. The further up the ladder you climb, you’ll eventually become a Certified SOLIDWORKS Expert (CSWE), which is the SOLIDWORKS equivalent to knighthood.
