It's getting to be that time of year--our events team is gearing up in earnest for SolidWorks World 2010. Next year's event takes place in Anaheim, California and starts on January 31, 2010.
One of the biggest things they need to do is pick the keynote speaker for the event. Last year we had Richard Branson, and speakers in years past have included Leonard Nimoy, the Mythbusters, the crew from Orange County Choppers, and even Steve Wozniak.
As they start the thinking process this year, they want to hear from you. Who do you want to see at SolidWorks World? Who would be someone exciting to hear from? No suggestion is too out there. Let us know.
Michael Jackson?

My vote goes for Ross Brawn too, or another major player in F1 that deals with the engineering/designing side of the cars.
Would be interesting to hear how they go about designing their F1 cars. But would they use a lot or even any Solidworks?

I would also like to add that there are really two industries that I think are very interesting and not very often in the CAD spotlight: military and medical.
Might be interesting to have a keyspeaker from one of those.

Hey, any updates or is it top secret? Told Jon the other night, I'm mighty chagrined that the team were able to sign up Richard Branson for 2009 without my help! (FYI, I managed SWW general sessions for nearly a decade, hired Leonard Nimoy, the Mythbusters, OCC, Steve Wozniak. Yep indeed, miss the glory, but not the stress! stevie t.
