OK, so I'm still working out the details on this, but it's looking like I'm going to be shooting for early Saturday evening (February 7) for the first ever SolidWorks World blogger social & Tweetup.
Not sure what that means? It's simple - if you're coming to SolidWorks World and you're on Twitter, or you're a blogger, you're invited to come hang out with your fellow bloggers and tweeters, including some of the folks from SolidWorks. I'm even going to try to get Jeff and Jon to come by, but they're busy guys, so we'll see what happens.
I don't have a time nailed down yet, but we're going to meet up at one of the bars in the Dolphin hotel. I'm guessing we'll get started around 6 or 7 and end (officially) around 8 or 9. We'll have to wait and see what the unofficial end turns out to be.
Stay tuned--I'll post more info as I can.
I have the solidworks 2008-2009 student edition, and am going through the tutorials, and I can't find the solidworks utilities under the Add-Ins. I think it is supposed to come with the student edition?
Does anyone know how I could activate the Utilities in solid works if it isn't showing up in my Add-Ins? I am trying to do the "compare two parts" tutorial.
Thank you.
Pierre.
