Episode 28: Jason Pancoast, Computer Aided Products

Jason_pancoastJason Pancoast, Engineering Manager at Computer Aided Products has been using SolidWorks since 1997. Jason has been a SolidWorks Instructor for 8 years and during that time has presented at SolidWorks World five times and several User Groups and "CAP U" events. Jason also won first prize in the Model Mania contest at SolidWorks World 2006. Hear Jason talk about his presentation at SolidWorks World 2007, what 3D Sketch is and how it's useful, some of the challenges users run into when using 3D Sketch, and what competing in the Model Mania competition was like and what it was like to win first prize.

Episode 27: Ed Eaton, Dimonte Group

EdeatonEd Eaton, Senior Industrial Design Engineer at Dimonte Group, is a SolidWorks user who has been working on and sharing curvy modeling techniques since 1997. Ed has presented at the last five SolidWorks World events and can be seen throughout the year presenting at various user groups across the country. Matthew_cumminsMatthew Cummins, Director of Design Technology at B&N Industries has been using SolidWorks for several years in both manufacturing and design environments.  One of his roles at B&N is to research and implement design tools such as SolidWorks that create efficiencies and enhance communication between company departments.  Hear Matthew talk about his presentation at SolidWorks World 2007, how he is using self mating assemblies at B&N to be more efficient, and how using stock components and self-mating assemblies has enabled B&N to increase efficiency across multiple departments.
